Five Reasons You're Being Social Media Ignored

Dear Business Owner,

Are you feeling a little frustrated when it comes to social media? Do you feel like despite all your hard work and best efforts, your social media accounts have trouble connecting with the right people? And
are you wondering why you do not see any replies or retweets, and your follower count has been stuck
at 100?

If you want to find out what the problem is, read on...

Below are some common reasons why many businesses find themselves "social media ignored".

1. You do not update often enough

If you want people to connect with you, you have to be present. So,
start participating in the conversation, sharing information and
acting like you are a part of the community.

2. You post TOO MANY updates

If you have been posting every five minutes, here is my advice to you-
slow it down a bit...Don't overload your community and provide
too much information. This strategy may backfire and turn
people off. So, don't be afraid to experiment and see just how
much your customers want from you.

3. You are not providing enough value

Well...I guess, this one speaks for itself. It's time to start posting
links, writing great content, educating your audience, offering
deals and promotions and providing more value. That's what
you are here for...

4. You are too salesy

Your marketing and sales strategies should be subtle and shouldn't
feel like marketing. Your biggest priority is to establish connection
with your followers and gain trust. As a result, it will be easier for you
to sell in the future. Make sure you come across as a person with
no agenda.

5. You don't respond to others

The point of social media is to be social. Simple as that. What you
should do is track the people who are talking about your brand or
start monitoring keywords pertinent to your line of business, then
hop into the conversation.
