1. SAS - the software firm offers great perks: on-site healthcare,
high-quality childcare, summer camp for kids, car cleaning,
a beauty salon and much, much more...Wow!

2. Boston Consulting Group - the consulting giant not only
avoided layoffs in a bad a economy, but hired its largest
class of recruits ever in 2010. They are drawn by the
firm's generous pay and commitment to social work.

3.  Wegman's Food Markets - the customer-friendly
supermarket deeply cares about the well-being of its
workers.

4. Google - the search giant is known for its long and
impressive list of perks, including free food at any
of its cafeterias, a climbing wall and,,,free laundry.

5. NetApp - the datastorage firm hired hundreds of
new employees, despite the downturn. Hourly
executive assistants make $76,450 a year here,
supplemented by a bonus of $21,917.

6. Zappos - the online shoe retailer is known for its
quirky, happy culture. Employees enjoy free lunches,
no-charge vending machines, and even a full-time
life coach.

7. Camden Property Trust - the apartment management
firm weathered the recession as employees pitched in
to trim $6 million in costs by renegotiating contracts and
reducing pay.

8. Nugget Market - the nine-store supermarket chain rewards
the most diligent employees with bonuses that range from
$20 to $1,500, not to mention a 10% discount on store
purchases.

9. Recreational Equipment (REI) - after 15 years of service
employees at this adventure gear retailer are entitled to
a four-week paid sabbatical. Employees also receive 50-70%
discounts on full-price REI branded apparel and equipment,
free rental of equipment like skis and kayaks, and an annual
gift of REI gear. Not bad, if you ask me

10. DreamWorks Animation (SKG) - the creators of "Shrek"
and "Kung Fu Panda" are lavished with free breakfast and lunch,
movie screenings, afternoon yoga, on-campus art classes
and monthly parties.
